The Red Knights International Motorcycle Club Illinois Chapter 14 regrets to announce the untimely passing of Charter Member Dave Chesire of the Manteno, IL Fire Department. Capt. Chesire, 46, passed away Saturday after a long illness.Capt. Chesire retired on a disability pension several years ago after contracting a systemic infection on a call. The infection settled in his heart, leaving him with less than half his normal cardiac output. Since retirement, he has been involved in property management and real estate.
Cremation rites have been accorded, and a memorial service is planned for later this week.

Today the Red Knights were a part of the First Annual HABITAT FOR
HUMANITY Poker Run. The club was honored to Co-Host the ride
and wants to thank all riders and participants for making the run a fun
and successful event.
6/4/11 The Red Knights participated in the 'Ride For Life' Rally in Manteno - several hundred bikers took to the streets to raise funds and awareness in the fight against breast cancer.

2/7/11- February 5, 2011 was an exciting and proud day for the club, as they received the Volunteer Service Club of the Year Award from Mowhawk Man at the International Motorcycle Parts Show" at McCormick Place in Chicago." Representing the club to receive the award were President Tom "Tazz" Rosan, Vice-President Steve "Chief" Wilder, Treasurer Jim Morse, and members Sophrina "Scarlett" Mullikan, David "Jebus" Mullikan, Lisa Pratl, and Chuck "Pipes" Hale.

1/30/11 - "The Red Knights IL Chapter 14 hosted and were joined by members of other area bike clubs on January 29/30, 2011 for the Basic and Advanced Rescue Riders training program.. This class focused on the emergency medical services aspect of motorcycle accidents, and prepared responders to care for injured bikers from the time of an accident until fire and EMS arrival on scene. Club members taking the class included President Tom Rosan, Vice-President Steve Wilder, Chaplain Dave Diveley, Jim Lebarge, Dave Mullikin, and Scarlett Mullikan."
